In honor of anti-boredom month here are a few things you can do this month to spice up your life while typical travel is on pause!
Be sure to social distance and follow local guidelines in your area! Wear a mask when you can to protect you and those around you.
Take a Road Trip
Lance took his family on a road trip to Northern California. They spent the night under the stars in their Sprinter Van. That’s my kind of social distancing!
*Be sure to check your local regulations on travel and closures! Bring masks, hand sanitizer and wipes if you plan on stopping at gas stations. :)
Hit the Lake
Chris just got back from a week of camping at the Lake. He was able to disconnect while connecting with his family and nature. You don’t need a boat to go to the lake! Get some floats from Amazon and (safely) drift away on the lake.
Take a Walk
Brooke has been taking a daily walk to her local park. While she is on her walks, she fires up an Audible book or a Podcast. This is a great way to step away from electronics for a few minutes.
Find Your Hobby
You know, we all have that one thing that’s been sitting in the corner of our garage for a couple years. There’s no better time like the present to finish the project or start the hobby! Start small. Set a timer for 25 minutes and only work on that one thing. When it’s up, decide if you want to continue that night or pick it up again tomorrow and do another 25 minutes.
Personally, I wanted to read more books this year so I invested in a Paperwhite Kindle and it's been so awesome! You get access to so many books at your fingertips! :)
What are you doing to beat boredom?! Let us know in the comments.
