Social Media Coordinator

This position requires you to be available in person at our Lindon, Utah office. You will have the chance to regularly work from home, or even better...traveling.

If you have social media experience, please provide a link to your portfolio. This can be very casual, we just want to see that you know what you're doing. 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and work with the team to create rad, travel-related one-off content, content series, and campaign content
  • Create an elevated and cohesive aesthetic, persona and voice for Gravel on TikTok, Instagram/Stories, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
  • Support execution of in-house and off-site photo and video shoots for social media
  • Write, edit, curate, schedule and publish original social media content that reflects Gravel's brand voice
  • Manage content calendar for all social media platforms, supporting evergreen content and large scale brand initiatives
  • Stay on top of trending sounds, trending content types, memes, graphics, and regularly share ideas on how to apply them to Gravel
  • Work with team to source relevant user-generated content and stories for ads
  • Analyze and report valuable insights and learnings from content performance
  • Perform administrative work such as invoicing and budget tracking as needed
  • Develop new ways of partnering with influencers

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Social Media experience or similar job
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, and Twitter
  • Understand digital marketing and how influencer and social content work together
  • Loves to travel and have fun
  • Dependability, follow-through, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle extensive multi-tasking and meeting multiple deadlines
  • Extremely well-organized and detail oriented
  • Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced, collaborative environment, is a flexible individual, creative thinker, and problem solver, and likes working in teams
  • Ability to take and provide direction
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with quick deadlines

Not required, but seriously considered:

  • Past experience running social media for a brand
  • Familiar with Kickstarter and Indiegogo
  • Video Editing Experience
  • Experience writing high-quality copy across multiple media types – including social media and blogs
  • Experience producing photoshoots/videoshoots
